A Guide to Hatching Artemia with Over 90% Success

Preparing the Hatching Water

Use filtered saltwater with a recommended salinity of around 25–30‰. Keep the water temperature stable between 28–30°C, with gentle, continuous aeration.

  • pH: 7.5 – 8.5
  • Maintain lighting throughout the hatching process
  • Egg density per Diamond's product-specific guidelines

The Hatching Process

Soak the eggs for the recommended duration and avoid letting them settle at the bottom. With Diamond's high-quality Artemia eggs, hatch rates can exceed 90%.

Keep backup water with matching parameters ready to avoid interruptions when refreshing the hatching batch.
